Cornerstone Theatre Canmore Wedding

Justin and Shanelle’s wedding day tucked away in the rocky mountains was a day to remember! The day started with Shanelle and her bridesmaids getting ready in the hotel. With her wedding dress hanging in the window, the excitement filled the air. When her hair + makeup was finished, her mom/maid of honour helped her get into her dress and put on the finishing touches before we were all ready to head to the Cornerstone Theatre for their ceremony!
The feel through-out their ceremony location was a warm glow of love. The aisle was lit with candles on both sides as Shanelle walked down with her mom and dad by her side. The look on Justin’s face as his bride to be entered the room was absolutely perfect. These two said I do holding hands surrounded by their closest friends and family. Once they tied the knot with their first kiss, we headed to the rockies with the whole bridal party and parents! After meeting Justin and Shanelle during their engagement session and seeing how stellar and warm hearted they were, I knew that there wedding party would be filled with the exact same kind of people, and I was definitely right! Adventuring around with this group was absolutely awesome. We started at Quary Lake Park under the three sisters mountain before going for a cruise in her mom’s Camaro and parking it in the perfect spotlight underneath the mountains. I’m SO happy that we got to shoot with the car that I’ve heard plenty about before hand.
We then headed to Banff to get lakeside along the rocks. Capturing the true connection between these two on their wedding day truly had me happy hearted. Justin and Shanelle were truly meant for each other. I see an unreal amount of love in their eyes every single time that they look at each other. A huge shout out to Shanelle for being an adventurous bride and for doing some serious rock climbing to get some of these frames! Let alone trusting me with the locations!
We headed back to the reception for a night filled with heart filled speeches, tears and laughs, along with a packed dance floor engulfed with awesome decor. I feel like I could go on and on describing what was truly a perfect wedding day, but I’ll stop here and let the photographs speak for themselves.
