Hey, I’m Joel! A Harley lovin’ wedding photographe Hey, I’m Joel! A Harley lovin’ wedding photographer based out of the Okanagan. A new year brings new faces so I wanted to share a bit about myself! These frames sum up what matters most; The beautiful human that I’m so proud to call my fiancé, the most special boy Bronx whom I’ve been so lucky to share a third of my life, my passion for two wheels, and of course, my craft that I’ve devoted the last 13 years to. A huge music guy. From location scouting to editing and everything in between, music is always playing. Everything from rap & heavy metal to get pumped for your shoot to some heartfelt country rock driving home after a love story of a wedding day. Living in the heart of the Okanagan in Lake Country BC still has this small town Ontario boy in aw of every scene! I’ve photographed over 300 weddings and elopements across a ton of km’s! I’ve forever felt that within my cohesive dark and moody style, intimacy and connection are delivered in a way that you can really feel. With a full year of unreal couples ahead, I cannot wait for the creativity that’s in store for 2024! A thank you letter to 2023 ✨⤵️ Tough or difficul A thank you letter to 2023 ✨⤵️ Tough or difficult times are often something we fear and try to avoid at all costs, yet I’ve honestly seemed to have found the most growth from them. Starting the year with a shoulder surgery that had a 12-month recovery road was a challenge and a half with a full plate of weddings, yet turned out to be the first thing to actually force me to slow down in all aspects, what I really needed for years. Giving me time to focus, evaluate, and learn, I’m excited for new outlooks and approaches; the creativity is thriving. Thank you, 2023, for being the tough teacher that I needed. Beyond grateful for all of the adventures, from elopements in the lush forests to I do’s in the vineyard. To all of the amazing souls that I had the opportunity of meeting, let alone capturing, you all made this year unforgettable! Here’s to 2024; I’m so excited for all of the moments ahead!
