Kai & Spencer share the absolute truest of loves. They tied the knot and made it official at 50th Parallel Estate Winery during one of the most memorable days!
They started the day off at Oak+Cru for drinks, a shot or two, and a bite to eat before their boat arrived at the patio to pick them up. Yep I said it right, they took a boat to their ceremony. Badass to say the least. The music was turned up and we cruised down Okanagan Lake towards the winery for their ceremony. We could see the winery up on the hill as we arrived closer to the dock. The excitement in the boat was real, these two were about to say I do!
We arrived at 50th Parallel Estate Winery for such a stunning ceremony. On a lookout pad high in the vineyard, over looking the lake, these two shared vows, kissed, drank wine and danced in happiness because they were finally married! There was seriously so much love during the whole ceremony, not only from these two, but everyone around them.
As their guests headed to the winery for a cocktail hour, I adventured through the lush green vineyards with these two. I could have spent hours in this scene photographing these two and their stellar love, but they had a party to get back to!
You could definitely say this was one of the most authentically awesome reception areas. The girls at True North Events did such a good job with the whole look – I’ll let the detail photos speak for themselves. With a live band in the background, Kai and Spencer made their entrance to what was such an amazing evening. Of course the food was absolutely delicious, backed by heart filled speeches, and a game before their first dance. A first dance that made my heart so damn full when I was capturing it all. Their smiles together killed me. After they danced with their mothers, the dance floor filled for an unreal night of dance moves and good music by Dj Dilraj.
Kai and Spencer, I couldn’t mean it any more when I say that I’m honoured to have photographed this time in your life. I’m so happy to have been a part of this day! Now for the photos, which I apologize in advance, as it is the longest blog post I’ve made to date!
