2017 All Wrapped Up – Joelsview Photography
As I look back on 2017, I cannot believe that all of these wonderful memories were from a single year. I photographed the highest number of weddings that I ever had, or most likely will (for the sake of my brain), but I wouldn’t change anything. 2017 consisted of being engulfed in the trees of Stanley Park in Vancouver, to the most darling sunsets over Lake Okanagan, forest fires and smokey days to waist deep snow in a winter wonderland at Big White. I witnessed a surprise proposal in Kelowna and explored in lush wheat fields in Coldstream. I travelled to Vancouver island to capture a country love and to Calgary for a downtown urban wedding. I climbed the Rocky mountains on wedding days and walked through vibrant rows of vineyards. I experienced a rooftop proposal in downtown Vancouver, and saw some stellar hearts to vintage cars on elegant days. I witnessed the most perfect spring evenings in the cherry orchards and dirt bikes on mountaintops overlooking Kelowna. This year’s fall consisted of lush North Vancouver forest adventures in the rain to a cold morning on canoeing the bluest mountain lake in Alberta. I was honoured to have had a photograph named a best world wide reception shot in Range Finder Magazine. There was a ton of captivating engagement sessions and breathtaking I do’s. The list seems to keep going as my mind rushes through all of the memories. Words truly can’t describe how grateful I am to have been able to capture (and experience!) each and every one of these moments below. You’re all so awesome!
Here’s to an even wilder 2018!
